The villa

In fact, rainwater and the two artesian wells of the estate feed two underground tanks (one of which is located under the tennis court) for a totally 135,000 litres water reserve. Each well provides 200 litres of water per day, enough for the entire season.
Furthermore, a 3kW photovoltaic system with on-site exchange (with 6kW ENEL connection), a 5kW generator and a 150-litre solar thermal system for domestic water provide the estate with a fair amount of autonomy in terms of energy.
The estate also has satellite TV, a camera at the gate and an intercom.

Magnificent sand dunes, turquoise and emerald coloured sea, lush vegetation. We are in Scivu, one of the most beautiful and uncontaminated places in the Mediterranean Sea, on the south-western coast of Sardinia.
Scivu is one of the most enchanting areas of the Costa Verde, in the territory of Arbus, a village of Medio Campidano. A three-kilometre strip of fine golden sand that “talks”, because of the sound that you produce when walking on it, interrupted only by a small cliff. Behind it the dunes stretch, dotted with junipers, mastic trees, brooms and sea lilies. High reddish rocks surround it on the sides and behind with the scented Mediterranean scrub that descends from the mountains to the sea.
It is an isolated place, far from inhabited centres, immersed in uncontaminated nature, not easy to reach, and therefore even more fascinating.
Although frequented in summer, this beach is never crowded.
The seabed and the fish population make Scivu a favourite destination for diving, snorkelling and surfcasting enthusiasts. When the wind blows constantly, however, (even in winter), the place becomes ideal for wave surfing, wind and kite surfing. To be respected and approached with caution, however, because the sea of the Costa Verde is spectacular, but rarely calm.
The atmosphere at Scivu is suggestive all year round and all day long, but the sunset, when everything is tinged with red, is the most impressive moment.
The beach has a large parking lot, equipped for campers, a refreshment point, beach equipment rental, pedal boats, canoes and dinghies. From the rest area, you can reach the beach by walking along a panoramic walkway through dunes and vegetation.
The coast is part of a WWF oasis, which in turn falls within the geo-mining park of Sardinia and the sites of community interest (600 hectares in total) of Capo Pecora and the Scivu-Piscinas dune system. Scivu is bordered to the north by the dunes of Piscinas, a dazzling yellow-ochre desert moved by the wind, and to the south by Capo Pecora, the isolated cliffs of which are a paradise for underwater fishermen. From here, you can reach Scivu in a suggestive, but not demanding, twelve-kilometre trek that winds along paths and mule tracks overlooking the sea and crosses the nature reserve of this uninhabited promontory.
